Head
lice, a most common problem in people of every age across the globe. These are
tiny grey/brown insects and are about the size of a sesame seed. Head lice can
cling to hairs but they prefer to stay close to the scalp from which they feed
of. Head lice lay eggs which hatched in 7-10 days. One other thing about the
head lice is the tiny nits. Nits are the empty white egg shells which are left
after hatch. They look like dandruff. Unlike the dandruff they stick to the
hair and cannot be easily brushed out.
These
head lice are very common in children but anyone can affect anyone of any age.
Head lice can’t fly so direct hair to hair contact is usually needed to pass
lice on to the other head. That is why these are most common in school going
children. They die soon enough when away from hair. it is very difficult to
find these head lice in your hair. if you suspect that you or your child has
head lice then it is best to do detection combing. For further detail on how to
